Justice will be based in London and be tasked with developing and executing Janus Capital International’s strategy across EMEA.

He was previously head of strategic initiatives for APAC and EMEA, based in Hong Kong. He continues to report to Augustus Cheh, president of Janus Capital International.

In his new role Justice will work with head of institutions for EMEA Jamie Wong, and head of financial intermediaries, for EMEA Sylvain Agar.

“We believe investors today require a greater choice of strategies and as such we are committed to offering a broad and differentiated range of investment solutions across international markets, suited to investors’ individual and local needs,” said Cheh. “Chris is a key part of our EMEA business strategy at an important time for Janus Capital International, as we build upon a number of strong growth years across both our retail and institutional franchises.”

“As we expand across a breadth of often complex international marketplaces, it is imperative we build ever stronger ties to our clients, through a firm understanding of local markets and by ensuring we have the right solutions in place for all our clients,” said Justice. “I look forward to building on our recent growth trend as we seek to create new long-term partnerships and reinforce existing ones across the region.”

As of December 31, 2015, Janus Capital International had assets under management of $42.4bn.
