Investec Wealth & Investment has hired James Neale from Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management.

Neale will be an investment manager in the firm’s Cheltenham office, and Investec said his appointment is part of a wider effort to bolster the teams in its regional bases.

Neale joined McCarthy Taylor in 2014, and moved over to Canaccord when it acquired the business in 2018. During his time as an investment manager there, he was responsible for managing discretionary portfolios for in-house IFAs.
