The current UK Alpha Fund manager, Ken Hsia, will concentrate on his role as its alternate manager as well as running Investec’s segregated UK unconstrained mandates.
The UK Alpha Fund was launched in 1979 and currently has £34.1m in assets under management, down from £40m at the end of February last year.
It has returned -1.37% in the past year compared to the average of the funds in the UK All Companies sector of 2.4%; over three years 19.8% whereas the average of all its peer group was 69.3%.
