According to Jeff Taylor, head of European equities at the firm, the promotions come a recognition of the pair’s contribution to the success of the franchise.

“The Invesco Perpetual European equities team continues to grow and focus on delivering strong long-term returns for our clients. With supportive conditions for European equities prevailing as we head into 2016, we are optimistic on the outlook for the region.”

Collin, who joined the firm in 2014 as an analyst within the European equities team will become a fund manager on both the Invesco Continental European Small Cap Equity Fund alongside lead manager Erik Esselink and the Invesco Euro Equity Fund alongside lead manager, Taylor. The changes will take effect on 31 December 2015 and 31 March 2016 respectively.

Perowne will join lead manager Adrian Bignell on the Invesco Perpetual European Opportunities Fund from 31 December 2015.

Prior to joining Invesco as a trainee analyst in 2010, Perowne spent three years with Jones LaSalle where he qualified as a chartered surveyor, while Collin joined the firm from a berth as leader of Exane BNP Paribas’ pan European mid cap sales team.
