Andrew Hall has been promoted to fund manager working alongside lead manager Stephen Anness.

Starting in his new role on Friday 30 May, he will work alongside lead manager of the fund, Stephen Anness. 
 
Prior to joining the firm a year ago in May 2013, Hall was a partner at Bramshott Capital LLP, a spin-off of Moore Europe Capital Management. Previously he took on his first ‘buy-side’ role as a European equities analyst at Moore Europe Capital Management. He began his investment career in 2000 at UBS Warburg, and in 2007 moved to Merrill Lynch to help grow its UK equities franchise.
 
“The fund is driven by high conviction, unconstrained stock selection and seeks the best investment ideas from around the globe,” chief investment officer Nick Mustoe said. 
 
“Andrew brings a consistent level of analytical rigour and active idea generation and also provides good support to Stephen, helping the team to build conviction in its investments,” he added.
 
Over the period of one year, the fund has achieved a cumulative performance of 7.3%, compared to the IMA Global benchmark which saw a cumulative performance of 2.9% in the same time span, according to FE Analytics.
