Wisdomtree has poached Lidia Treiber (pictured) from Invesco ETFs to take on the role as director of research in Europe.
Treiber joins with more than 11 years of experience in the investment management industry, the last four years as fixed income specialist at Invesco ETFs.
Prior to that, she was at Wellington Management where she worked with the firm’s largest institutional clients and before that, at Blackrock where she was a research analyst and fixed income product strategist.
In her role at Wisdomtree, Treiber will lead the fixed income research in Europe to develop the firm’s fixed income offering and work directly with the firm’s research team in London and the US.
She will report to head of research in Europe Christopher Gannatti.
Gannatti said: “Lidia is the perfect candidate to strengthen the company’s fixed income research and knowledge set. Investment in ETFs in this asset class appears set to surge again in 2019.
“Lidia will play a key role in providing market insights and in shining a light on Wisdomtree’s smart beta products in this space, ensuring we continue to help educate and inform investors.”
