Interactive Investor (II) has appointed ex-Hargreaves Lansdown analyst Keith Bowman to its equities team working alongside Richard Hunter and Lee Wild.
Bowman, who left Hargreaves Lansdown (HL) in 2016 after 10 years, joins from Westminster Wills where he was most recently an office administrator.
Prior to this, he was pensions administrator at Oracle Consultants.
In his new role at II, he will be reunited with his ex-colleague Hunter, who he worked with at both Hargreaves and previously at NatWest Stockbrokers.
He said: “With some bumper dividend payments jostling with some high-profile cuts in the FTSE 100, rarely has there been a greater need for concise and accurate research.”
At II, his role will involve providing share research for customers, primarily with a UK FTSE 100 focus, but also covering a number of international shares, particularly in the US.
Moira O’Neill, head of personal finance at II, added: “Together with our existing and broad research on funds and investment trusts, we will have a more profound coverage of major asset classes for the benefit of our clients as they make their investment decisions.”
