The new recruits include Daniel Eustaquio, who returns to the firm after a three year stint as investment director at Oppenheimer and Co.

Eustaquio spent just over 11 years at ING, latterly as senior portfolio manager in the EMD team. He left in October 2009 and re-joins as senior ortfolio manager of hard currency.

The firm has also recruited three corporate analysts, Patricia Medina, Jasmine Le and Shilpa Singhai, as it looks to secure a ‘top notch’ EMD team.

ING lost 19 members of its EMD team to Neuberger Berman, including six credit analysts, four economists and 12 portfolio managers.
