Pamphilon’s latest role was head of fixed income at Wells Fargo Asset Management, which he held until the end of 2020.

He previously co-founded European Credit Management in 1999, where he was head of portfolio management, head of investments and chief investment officer before its sale to Wachovia in 2007.

Charles French, deputy chief investment officer, listed investments at Impax, said: “We are delighted to welcome Ross to Impax. Given his considerable experience, he is ideally qualified to lead the development and management of Impax’s fixed income platform as we look to develop and grow this asset class.

“We have ambitious plans to expand our business to enable clients to benefit from an enlarged range of capabilities.”
