Milburn, who co-manages four bond funds for Kames is recovering from Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome, which follows a bout of glandular fever he contracted around 10 years ago, the firm said.
Stressing that it would be business as usual despite Milburn’s absence, Kames said that Claire McGuckin will continue as co-manager on both the High Yield Bond Fund and High Yield Global Bond Fund. But, it added, it has appointed Stephen Baines as support manager on the fund.
With regards the Strategic Bond and Strategic Global Bond Funds, Colin Finlayson has been promoted from support manager to co-manager on both funds alongside Milburn’s existing co-manager David Roberts.
