Hyland was manager of the Schroder ISF Global High Income Bond Fund and during his tenure outperformed the average manager in the sector.
In his role of EM corporate debt portfolio manager Hyland will add increased research and investment capability to Muzinich & Co’s existing EMD mandates and products.
George Muzinich, founder, chairman and CEO of the firm, said: “EMD is an increasingly important part of corporate credit. While we already have capability in this area, Warren’s appointment allows us to develop it further.”
Muzinich & Co specialises in corporate credit and credit-orientated strategies and has approximately $22bn in assets under management.
