Bringing with him more than 30 years’ experience working in the investment sector, Yates, who served as Henderson Group’s boss between 1999 and 2008, will in January join SJP’s board as an independent non-executive direction.
Simon Jeffreys, previously a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, will take up a board seat at the same time.
The pair will join SJP as Charles Gregson, the wealth network’s non-executive chair, stands down, with Sarah Bates, currently a senior non-executive director, taking over his duties.
