Matthews is currently heads up the Invesco Sterling Bond fund, and the Invesco Perpetual Global Bond Fund which he co-manages with Stuart Edwards.
He will continue his duties on the Sterling Fund, but will no longer manage the Global Bond fund with Edwards taking full control of the fund.
Launched in 1995, the Invesco Corporate Bond Fund is regarded as the firm’s flagship fund. FE data shows that it has outperformed its sector, sterling corporate bond, over one and five years, and by a significant 11.2 percentage points across the latter timeframe.
