Hargreaves Lansdown has beefed up its investment research capabilities with a double hire.
Derren Nathan has been hired as head of equity research, while Hal Cook joins as a senior investment analyst.
Nathan has over 15 years’ experience and was previously an equity analyst at WH Ireland. For the past eight years he was director of research at Aim broker Hybridan.
Cook joins from Mercer where he oversaw fund selection and monitoring for their private wealth discretionary management service. Within Hargreaves’ fund research team, he will specialise in mixed asset and fixed income and will provide oversight and challenge to fund selection across all sectors on the Wealth Shortlist, its best buy list.
