Jones rose to assistant branch manager at Hargreave Hale’s Blackpool office between 2004 and 2015 and returns to the firm after a brief stint at Hedley & Co Stockbrokers.
He has also held roles at RBS, Deutsche Bank AG and UBS.

His return to the Hargreave Hale fold comes after Canaccord Genuity Wealth Mangement acquired the business in an £80m deal announced in July.
The firms will continue to operate independently until next year to avoid disruption for customers it was announced at the time.
