The Neuberger Berman Global Bond Fund has been seeded by an external investor with $68m. It will be run by Andrew Johnson, Ugo Lancioni, Dave Brown and Thanos Bardas who have more than 50 years experience with the company behind them. They are supported by a global team of 110 fixed income professionals.
This launch follows the introduction to its Ucits range of a short duration high yield bond fund at the end of last year, itself seeded from internal funds.
Away from fund launches, the firm recruited Rob Swan last month to take up a new role as head of international marketing responsible for European and Asian initiatives.
Swan and the Global Bond Fund managers report to Dik van Lomwel, head of Neuberger Berman EMEA and LatAm.
