The Gilliat Annual Kick Out – October 2010 and Dual Kick Out – October 2010 both offered a choice of reference levels for kick out to occur.
Options two and three of both plans offered reference levels at 95% and 90% of the start values and have now kicked out.
The Annual Kick Out paid 10.25% and 8.25% and the Dual Kick Out paid 10.5% and 9%, for options two and three respectively.
The firm’s latest offering, Annual Kick Out – October 2011, still features the three reference levels and offers potential for 13.3% after one year.
Adrian Neave, managing director of Gilliat Financial Solutions, said: "The recent maturities serve to highlight just how useful defensive kick outs can be in a portfolio.
"Since the launch of these products the FTSE 100 has fallen by nearly 5% and the S&P 500 is only marginally up. For investors to receive returns of between 8.25% and 10.5% in such a climate is an excellent demonstration of the benefits of structured products."
