Tim Harris will oversee the distribution of asset classes within the firm’s portfolio according to the changing market landscape.

Utilising a top-down, macroeconomic-based approach, Harris will implement strategic allocation on a 12-month outlook alongside monthly ‘tactical asset allocation’, in line with GHC’s portfolio risk constraints.

Arriving from Lloyds Bank Private Bank, where he was chief investment officer for UK high net-worth clients, Harris also spent time as CIO of JP Morgan Private Bank’s EMEA division and fund manager at JP Morgan Asset Management.

Gary Rusby, GHC’s head of business development, said: “Tim’s extensive knowledge of managing investments through previous financial cycles adds an even greater degree of experience to the team.”
