And the same goes for this year…
The great thing is the choice of how to generate income for clients is increasing, something I could not necessarily have written too positively about 12 months ago even though the macro drivers (low interest rates etc) have not significantly changed.
To help explore what these choices are, we invited seven leading income fund managers, representing different outlooks and strategies, regional and global, equity and fixed income, to debate with wealth and portfolio managers where investors can generate income in today’s – and more importantly tomorrow’s – macro environment.
They covered a range of opportunities across the asset classes, with regional – UK, Europe and Asian – and global equity strategies, added to discussions around constrained (high yield) and unconstrained (multi-asset, multi-geographical) fixed income propositions.
