Fulcrum Asset Management has increased the headcount in its partnership to 18 following the appointment of three new partners.
Patrick Forde (pictured left) joined the firm’s trading desk in 2015 before being appointed head trader in 2019.
Gerin Tertilt (pictured centre) arrived in 2017 after spending four years as a fixed income portfolio manager at Pimco.
The pair are joined by former Goldman Sachs director Filippo Cartiglia (pictured right) who arrived at the £4.9bn asset manager in 2019 after a nine year stint as chief economist at Arrowgrass Capital Partners.
Last year, the firm added head of investor relations Emma Pickering, head of research Juan Antolin-Diaz, and head of the portfolio engineering group Philip Strother to the partnership.
Commenting on the promotions, Fulcrum managing partner Joe Davidson said: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Patrick, Gerin and Filippo to the partnership. All three have made huge contributions to the business in their respective fields over a number of years.
“Fulcrum has always supported our people to progress and develop their skills, while enhancing the business’ own capabilities. Promotion to the partnership is testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of Patrick, Gerin and Filippo and is richly deserved.”
