He joins on 1 April from Carmignac Gestion where he has been sales director for the last two years and will report to head of UK retail sales Alex Brotherston.

Dunn will have responsibility for fund distribution within the discretionary channel and running that particular sales team, working alongside Mark Elliott, who joined from BlackRock last year.

Prior to Carmignac Gestion, he worked as head of strategic business development at LV Asset Management where he was responsible for managing the advisory team and developing strategic alliances.

Previous to LVAM, he held positions at FundQuest, Insight Investment, Lombard Odier and Fleming Asset Management.

Brotherston said: “This is another milestone for us as our senior retail management team is now complete.  I am very pleased to welcome Mark Dunn on board.  Mark brings with him over 24 years of experience in the asset management industry and I look forward to working with him and growing our market share in the discretionary channel."
