Former Edentree responsible investing head Neville White (pictured) has joined Trinity Communications as a senior adviser, Portfolio Adviser has learned.
White was head of responsible investment policy & research at Edentree from 2010 until he retired in December 2023.
With over 25 years’ responsible investing experience, he has also held the role of head of ethical investment for the Church of England National Investment Bodies.
“Client communications hasn’t had the focus it deserves. As an industry, we need to tell our clients how we’re managing their assets and the headwinds they’re facing,” White said.
“Partnering with Trinity is key to how I believe that we can build a stronger dialogue with investors and show the value of sustainable investment. It’s only by explaining why sustainable investment matters to clients that we’ll retain the assets we hold for investors.”
Trinity Communications was founded by Charles Clarke, who has previously held senior communications roles at HSBC Asset Management and BNP Paribas.
Clarke added: “Asset managers are looking to differentiate themselves from the market when it comes to sustainability.
“Having Neville on board further deepens our ability to create both proactive narratives for our clients that help them stand out from their competitors as well as reactive answers they can use with investors that help them protect their brand.”
