The former head of investment trusts at Axa, Neil Winward (pictured), has been appointed as Frostrow Capital’s head of investor relations and marketing.

With over 25 years in industry, Winward joins from Jefferies where he spent the last three years as co-head of its investment funds team.

He has previously held roles at City of London, Quilter and Allianz.

Frostrow assists in the day-to-day operations of investment companies and includes the Lindsell Train and Finsbury Growth investment trusts among its clients.

Alastair Smith, Frostrow managing partner, said: “We are delighted to have attracted someone of Neil’s calibre to join the Frostrow team. His extensive experience and knowledge of the investment company sector will be of great benefit to our investment company clients and their boards. We very much look forward to working with him.”

Winward added: “I have worked in the investment companies’ sector since 1997 with 13 years on the buy side and 13 years on the sell side. I am thrilled to have found a role where I can apply this experience to promote the firm’s investment company clients.

“I am excited to be joining Frostrow, a business that has grown impressively since its launch. With a sole focus on the investment companies’ sector, this is a very interesting opportunity to contribute to the range and quality of services Frostrow has become known for and to help ensure the continued growth and success of the firm’s clients. I am greatly looking forward to working with the team.”
