Sanlam UK has appointed Nicola Fraser group chief financial officer.
Fraser had worked for Aberdeen Asset Management since 2011, where she was chief financial officer for EMEA. When the company merged with Standard Life Investments to become Aberdeen Standard Investments, she became global head of financial risk.
She exited the company in September 2019.
An Aberdeen Standard Investments spokesperson confirmed her responsibilities have been split among the existing team.
Except for a stint at Merrill Lynch’s London offices she has spent most of her career in Scotland with Marie Currie, Abbey National and EY among her previous employers.
