The Finserve Global Defence and Security fund (formerly known as the Finserve Global Security) has been made available to UK and European investors through the launch of new share classes.
Originally launched in 2019, the fund invests in defence, security and space sectors across the globe.
Over the past seven years, the dollar version of the fund returned 221.6% to 19 June 2026, according to Morningstar data.
Joakim Agerback, lead manager on the fund, said: “National security and defence capability are increasingly seen as preconditions for stable and resilient societies.
“At the same time, space has become a strategically important domain for communication, navigation, surveillance and other critical infrastructure.”
Malcom Arthur, director at Spring Capital, which served as the distribution partner of the fund, added: “The decline in defence spending by many countries is being challenged by a heightened focus on security and resilience.”
The Finserve team said they see long-term structural growth potential from these sectors, owing to both private and public market commitments.
