Fidelity International has announced Steve Ellis (pictured) is to leave the firm after 13 years to take a career break.
Ellis was most latterly global CIO for fixed income, a role he took on 2018, and the group said its fixed income AUM grew from $74bn to $95bn during his tenure.
Fidelity will announce a further update in due course on his replacement.
However, the Fidelity Emerging Market Debt fund, which Ellis run alongside manager Eric Wong, will now be jointly managed by new hire Philip Fielding. Fielding will join the group in April from MacKay Shields, but started his career at F&C in 2006.
