Fidelity International head of wholesale John Clougherty (pictured) is set to retire, Portfolio Adviser has learned.

He will stay in the role into 2023 to allow for a transition of his responsibilities.

Clougherty re-joined the firm in 2012 from Aviva Investors where he was director of UK collective investments.

A Fidelity spokesperson told Portfolio Adviser: “Following a successful career spanning over 30 years, including 17 years at Fidelity International, John Clougherty has informed us of his decision to retire. His replacement will be announced in due course.”

They added: “We would like to thank John for his considerable contribution to the business during his time at Fidelity.”
