Schroders Capital has recruited Mark Bruen as head of private credit solutions in its private asset solutions team.

His nine years at Federated Hermes followed a five-year stint at BlackRock, where he was latterly vice president, iShares Emea product strategy. Bruen started his career at Accenture in 2004.
Seex said: “Mark brings deep multi-asset class investment knowledge across both public and private credit markets, as well as strong structuring expertise.
“This appointment demonstrates the growth of our business and the demand we are seeing amongst our clients for solutions in this space.”
