Andrew Jackson has stepped down from him role as head of fixed income at Federated Hermes after nearly five years, Portfolio Adviser can reveal.

A spokesperson confirmed Jackson “has left the firm to pursue other opportunities”, adding that “we wish him well in his next endeavour”.

It is not known at this stage which company he has left to join.

Jackson joined Federated Hermes from Cairn Capital in April 2017, where he was chief investment officer. He was also a vice president at the Bank of America.

When asked who will be stepping into the head of fixed income role, the spokesperson said: “We have a clear and established succession plan based on an exceptional senior fixed income team, which has now been activated.”
