The Luxembourg-domiciled F&C Global Smaller Cap Equity Fund will be rolled out at the end of June, subject to regulatory approval.
The firm cites favourable economic fundamentals and increased IPO activity in the small cap sector as reasons behind the launch.
The high conviction Fund will hold between 80 to 100 stocks. Stanley will adopt a pure stock-picking focus with limited benchmark restrictions regarding geographical or sector positions.
The fund will invest mainly in companies with a market cap of between $200m and $7bn, and aim to deliver long-term capital growth and outperformance of the MSCI World Small Cap Index over a rolling three-year period.
Stanley currently manages the £92.5m F&C UK Smaller Companies Fund, which has returned 64% over the past three years, according to FE Analytics.
