Duncton joins the firm from Acromas Financial Services where he was head of product and marketing working on brands such as Saga and the AA. He will be based in London and report to Richard Wilson, F&C’s head of investments and head of institutional business.
Wilson commented: “We believe the ‘direct to consumer’ channel has the potential to make a real contribution to future sales growth and are delighted that someone of Ross’s calibre is joining the business.”
Earlier this year, F&C unveiled its strategic review, which stated the ambition to enhance its direct marketing infrastructure and capabilities. The strategy is intended in part to position the asset manager for the post-RDR industry.
