A hub providing ‘impact investing’ research for advisers has launched a review to name and shame ethical funds with less than squeaky clean portfolios.

A full database examining 201 funds which have some form of sustainable or ethical mandate, are registered in the UK and are available to UK investors will be available to Worthstone’s subscribers.

The firm has said it wants social impact investment to form a central part of financial planning for all UK retail investors

The funds will be rated from five stars, meaning they are top performing with no exposure to ‘ethically controversial’ companies down to one star where there are major concerns over performance and stock selection.
