The £314m European Assets Trust has named Mine Tezgul (pictured) as lead manager, succeeding Sam Cosh who had managed the portfolio since 2011.

Tezgul sits within the Columbia Threadneedle European equities team and is head of European small cap equities.

After joining the firm in 2018 as an equity analyst, she has been lead manager of the Columbia Threadneedle European Smaller Companies strategy and co-manager of the Columbia Threadneedle Pan European Small Cap Opportunities strategy since 2019.

Tezgul has previously held equity analyst roles at Lansdowne Partners, SAC Global Investors and Highbridge Capital Management.

The trust confirmed that investment manager Lucy Morris will continue in her role to support Tezgul.
