Tabberer was previously part of the asset manager’s global equities team, which was restricted at the end of last year. He was co-manager on the Henderson Horizon Global Opportunities and World Select Funds.
Prior to joining Henderson, he spent seven years at Baillie Gifford on its US equities desk.
Based in Edinburgh, he will be responsible for interacting with clients, advisers and internal Henderson teams on all aspects of the portfolios, ensuring that marketing and reporting demands do not become too great on the fund managers.
