As first reported by Portfolio Adviser, the firm is seeking to establish a significant presence in the UK market and over recent months has been adapting its offering, which had been primarily sold in the French and Swiss markets through Fonds Communs de Placement vehicles.
A number funds are being made available to UK investors through the Edmond de Rothschild UCITS umbrella domiciled in Luxembourg. Sterling and sterling hedged classes have been introduced for the first time, with a total of 16 sub-funds registered for sale in the UK.
Among these are the firm’s ‘specialties’ including European and global equities, various thematic funds, convertible bonds and emerging market bonds. The full list is available on the firm’s website.

The availability of our main strategies in a fund format is an important milestone that will allow us to raise our profile with a broader audience”.
At December 31 2015, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management had €54bn under management.
