Lee will join as director and head of UK wholesale on 1st October. He had been at Allianz from December 2013 until September.
Prior to this, Lee was head of UK discretionary sales at Cazenove Capital, which was acquired by Schroders in July 2013. He has worked in financial services for almost 20 years, having also held sales roles at Old Mutual Asset Managers, Britannic Asset Management and Chase de Vere.
Lee will be involved in the adaptation and re-targeting of Edmond de Rothschild’s offering, which is primarily sold in the French and Swiss markets through Fonds Communs de Placement vehicles.
New SICAV’s are expected to be launched by the firm with British pound share classes, which can be readily sold in the UK market and elsewhere.
“I am delighted and excited to be joining EdRAM,” said Lee. “The group has ambitious plans for growth outside of France and Switzerland, and I look forward to establishing and building their presence in the UK wholesale market over the coming years,” he added.
“We are very pleased to be able to welcome Dan to our team,” said CEO Charles Goodman. “His deep knowledge of the market will be tremendously helpful, both in improving the quality of our coverage and in adapting our range of products and services to the needs of UK investors, Goodman added.
