Hayley Grafton has been appointed senior RI analyst on Edentree’s responsible investment team.

In this new role, she will lead the firm’s corporate governance and proxy voting work, as well as focusing on core themes such climate change, financial inclusion and water stress.

Grafton moves over from Mercer, where she was working as a sustainable investment specialist for two years.

Here she was responsible for ensuring that ESG factors were integrated across the firm’s multi-client and bespoke funds, taking a particular focus on Mercer’s stewardship strategy.

Carlota Esguevillas (pictured), head of responsible investment at Edentree, said Grafton brings “expertise and experience that will no doubt complement the wealth of knowledge within our current team”.

She added: “The strength of the team will allow us to expand our focus for clients and prospects alike.”

Grafton will be joining the team of four which is headed up by Esguevillas (who has been at Edentree for three years) and is supported by Amelia Gaston and Cordelia Dower Tylee , who both joined in July 2022.
