Eden Park Investment Management (EPIM), part of the Clifton Asset Management Group, has appointed Hymans Robertson Investment Services (HRIS) to sub-manage its £140m Brunel portfolio range.

As a result of this new partnership, EPIM clients will receive an average cost reduction of around 20bps.

Anthony Carty, EPIM chief executive, said: “After a thorough and wide-ranging tender process, we were very impressed with HRIS’s strategic and tactical asset allocation process. Furthermore, with Consumer Duty in mind, the institutional scale HRIS offers is such that we can benefit from the significant share class discounts they have negotiated with various fund groups – thus contributing towards an average cost reduction of circa 20bps for our clients – a very meaningful amount in terms of the value for money equation.”

Earlier this year, EPIM partnered with Charles Stanley and SS&C Hubwise to provide a discretionary fund management (DFM) service.

EPIM’s Brunel range has been available to advisers since July 2019.  The firm operates four model portfolios, with the Cabot and Tailored ranges sub-managed by Charles Stanley, while its Sustainable range is sub-managed by LGT.
