Peck, most recently chief executive of Fleming Family & Partners’ UK asset management business, joins as the most senior hire, with Ings-Chambers as deputy head.

Ings-Chambers joins from SGPB Hambros, where he was investor director having joined that firm as part of its acquisition of Barings’ private client arm in early 2011.

US-based Brown Advisory opened its London office in 2008, having originally formed in Baltimore, Maryland in 1993. It manages around £10bn for families and high-net-worth individuals globally with a minimum account size of £5m.

“For several years, we have advised some prominent US expats in London and as increased regulation has made it more difficult for UK wealth managers to work with Americans, we believe this is an area of great opportunity for us,” said Logie Fitzwilliams, head of Brown Advisory’s international business.
