Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management is growing its passives sales team with new hires for the UK, Asia and France.

The distribution team is growing as inflows have increased year to date, the firm said.
 
Joining as head of ETP sales for the UK, John Adu will be responsible for developing a UK client base. Prior to his new role, he was working at Source where he helped establish the firm’s UK and Irish client base. He has also worked at Barclays Global Investors and at advisory boutiques Welbeck Consulting and IlliquidX.
 
Jim Cao joins as  passive sales specialist for the global client group for Asia. He will be based in HongKong. Previously Cao was part of the passive team for Asia ex-Japan at iShares. Here he was responsible for structuring products and sales in China.
 
Paris-based passive sales specialist Alfred Le Léon joins the team from HSBC Global Asset Management. Here he was an ETF product specialist in charge of sales across EMEA. In his new role, Le Léon is responsible for strengthening the firm’s coverage in the French market. 
 
In July, Deutsche AWM added a MSCI World Index exchange traded fund to its Core-ETF range.
