Potaczek will head a team of analysts responsible for Defaqto’s fund management related ratings, authoring publications and providing consultancy services to fund houses, DFMs and intermediary clients.
“We created this new role because we are placing even greater onus on the fund-related services we offer, in order to meet the growing requirements in this area among both advisers and fund managers,” chief executive at Defaqto, Zahid Bilgrami, said.
Prior to joining Defaqto, Potaczek was investment director at financial adviser network Intrinsic. In the past he also held senior fund manager roles at Close Brothers, Legal and General, EEA, Threadneedle Investments, AXA Multimanager and F&C Asset Management. He is a chartered member of the CISI and an IMC member of the CFA Society in the UK.
