Busuttil will work as an analyst, alongside Leonard Charlton, David Robinson and Benjamin Billiard on the Melchior European equity long/short strategies which include the $500m soft-closed Ucits version of the fund.
Joining from Blackstone Group, where he was part of the European debt restructuring team, Busuttil has also previously worked in the M&A group at Credit Suisse.
“Keith brings with him a range of skills and experience that are complimentary to those already possessed by the Melchior European equities team,” said Charlton.
“His accountancy, M&A, debt restructuring and investment experience will give us a significant edge in identifying alpha sources through the detailed analysis of industries and businesses.”
