David Thompson joins as new private client director after 25 years at Coutts.

Thompson had previously been at Coutts for 25 years in a numerous appointments, including head of client service and senior wealth manager, in which he tailored financial advice for clients. 
 
In his new role, he will be responsible for developing private banking and wealth management proposals for clients. 
 
In January, former Sanlam chief Hugh Titcomb joined the firm as head of private banking. In March, the private bank took on three former bankers from Barclays Wealth to its Edinburgh team.
