Coutts senior portfolio manager Jeremy Ward has left the business after eight years.
Ward (pictured) is moving back to his native New Zealand to work as a director in charge of global equities research at wealth manager and investment bank Jarden.
At Coutts he oversaw a global portfolio of 80-100 investments with a particular focus on healthcare and technology. He also managed Coutts’ four multi-asset funds: defensive, balanced, growth and equity growth.
Before joining Coutts in 2012, Ward was an assistant fund manager on the equity desk at Newton Investment Management. He has also worked as a senior treasury analyst at BNY Mellon where he managed FX currency hedging across portfolios.
Jarden was founded in 1961 as an independent investment and advisory group by former All Blacks rugby player Ron Jarden. It has nine offices across New Zealand as well as one in Sydney, Australia.
