Coutts makes UHNW appointment

Coutts has hired ex Credit Suisse and JP Morgan Private Bank wealth manager Alison Bishop for its ultra-high-net-worth Private Office business.

In a newly created role as senior wealth manager, executive director, Bishop provides advice on wealth structuring, investments, bonds and protection, serving clients that hold more than £10m in assets with Coutts.

Bishop was previously a desk head within Credit Suisse Private Bank’s ultra-high-net-worth business, and before this she spent seven years with JP Morgan Private Bank where she led its financial sponsors’ team.

She began her career fifteen years ago on the trading floor at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in institutional European high yield sales.

In her new role, Bishop reports directly to Adrian Jones, managing director within Coutts Private Office.

Established in 2005, Coutts Private Office is headed by Duncan Macintyre and prides itself in offering clients a private banker to provide the “highest levels of personal service”.
