Haly (pictured) joins after seven years at Coutts & Co, where she headed a unit in the firm’s tailored portfolio services division.

Prior to this, Haly began her career at KPMG Peat Marwick Mclintock where she qualified as a chartered accountant.

She also worked at firms such as SG Asset Management, Baring Asset Management and Kleinwort Benson Private Bank.

Haly said: “I am delighted to join Waverton with its increasingly unique and flexible approach to managing portfolios.

“This client centric ethos and a focus on direct global stock exposure provide clients with an outstanding investment offering.”

With over 25 years’ experience, Haly has expertise in managing the assets of ultra-high net worth individuals and complex clients.

Waverton chief executive Andrew Fleming said Haly brings a “wealth of expertise, a strong track record and impressive professional credentials”.

“Her expertise will strengthen our existing family and private client service and I have no doubt that she will play a key role in developing our business further.”
