The group has announced that John Willcock, property finance and commercial director, will assume Jordison’s role, reporting to Michelle Scrimgeour, Columbia Threadneedle’s EMEA chief executive.

Jordison has held the managing director role for the last 10 years and had been with the group for 24 years.

Willcock has worked with Jordison at Columbia Threadneedle since 1994. In his new role he will be supported by Chris Morrogh and James Rigg, both of whom are property directors and fund managers, and Joseph Vullo, head of property asset management.

According to the group, Willcock, Morrogh, Rigg and Vullo will form the senior management team and will continue to provide leadership and strategic direction for the property business.

“While Don will be missed, his retirement has been in the planning for some time and our property business has a strong established senior management team in place,” said Scrimgeour.

“We thank Don for his commitment to serving our clients over more than 20 years and for the substantial contributions he has made to the company during this time. We wish Don and his family the very best for his retirement.

The Threadneedle UK Property Authorised Investment Fund, which Jordison is a named co-manager of, will continue to be managed by existing co-manager, Gerry Frewin.
