Close Brothers Asset Management has hired Chris Hutchinson as senior investment manager.
He joins the firm from Investec Wealth and Investment, where he spent six years in investment management roles.
Hutchinson will be based in CBAM’s Cheltenham office and focus on delivering bespoke, multi-asset class investment portfolios for clients.

He has worked with private clients, trusts, charities, and intermediaries during his tenure at Investec. He is qualified as chartered wealth manager and a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).
CBAM has made a string of hires from Investec W&I this year, with Adam Finlay also joining as an investment manager, and Marcus Vertue as senior investment director.
