Close Brothers Asset Management has appointed Marcus Vertue as senior investment director, based in its London head office.
Vertue will be managing a broad range of portfolios for high-net-worth clients. He has over 30 years of experience and joins from Investec Wealth & Investment, as it merges with Rathbones.
He specialises in taxable portfolios, ISAs, self-invested pension plans, family trusts and inheritance tax planning wrappers.
Giles Marshall, head of bespoke at CBAM, said: “Marcus brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our London team. With a long-term track record working with high-net worth individuals and their families, we’re thrilled to have him on board”.
CBAM has operations across the UK, and more than 750 staff.
