Clinch will start in early March and previously worked at J Rothschild Capital Management, where he was an investment manager.
Prior to J Rothschild, he was a director of US equities at F&C (2005 to 2008) and before that a senior fund manager and head of North American equities at Aberdeen (2001 to 2005).
At both fund houses he was responsible for the management of a range of portfolios for both retail and institutional clients.
